Ed Heon is CDO of DATAgility, a leading data management services company, which he co-founded in 2005. Previously he was the proprietor and designer of a successful ERP system for electrical distributors, and a widely-used VMI inventory management system. He introduced the concept of “data synchronization” in 1997, and has provided effective data management systems in several industries. Ed has worked for many years with industry groups in the adoption of e-business and data standards and practices, including the Electrical Industry Data Warehouse (IDEA), Auto Care Association (ACA), the Specialty Equipment Market Assn. (SEMA), Electronic Commerce Council of Canada (GS1) and the Department of Defense. He received the Auto Aftermarket Visionary Award for the development of the Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES). He completed his undergraduate studies at UMass Amherst and earned his MBA at Northeastern University in Boston.
Denise Keating, Co-Founder and CEO, is known for her relentless enthusiasm and passion for helping companies gather, create, and manage high quality, unique, and relevant product data content for B2B ecommerce platforms. She has a proven track record in successfully collaborating with their clients to deliver data quality services that align with the organization’s strategic ecommerce objectives. With 25 + years of experience in the distribution channel, she is a recognized for her thought leadership on ecommerce and product data content strategies and is a frequent speaker at industry associations such as: National Association of Electrical Distributors, Industry Data Exchange Association, Electro-Federation Canada, Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating, Specialty Equipment Marketing Association, Auto Care Association and the Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada. She has contributed to many industry publications and was honored to serve as one of four panelists on the electrical data synchronization panel moderated by Gene Randall, a former White House Correspondent for NBC and CNN.
Brett Anderson, Vice President of Business Development for DATAgility, has been instrumental in the development of the NAED X-Check Expansion program. He has over 14 years’ experience and plays a key role at DATAgility spanning several positions including data analyst, production engineer, and sales management. He has demonstrated skill in developing effective and innovative solutions for customers while focusing on building highly productive long-lasting relationships. In 2012, at the age of 24, he received NAED’s 30 under 35 award and was recognized as one of the talented young professionals in the electrical industry.
Angela Baraks, Director of Sales and Marketing has been with DATAgility since its inception in 2005. She oversees the Sales & Marketing departments and is focused on fostering customer relationships. With 25+ years of experience, Angela has remained committed to the Electrical Industry. Angela started her career for an electrical manufacturer in National Accounts as well as a data analyst for a Vendor Managed Inventory software program sold throughout the electrical industry. She likes to say she grew up in this industry and continues to have a passion for it. Angela served on the NAED Women in Industry committee and headed up the recruitment subcommittee.
Tammy Mortell brings over 20 years of automotive industry data management. She worked for a leading brake parts manufacturer where she held several positions in various depts., including credit, pricing, product & vehicle application data management. She joined the DATAgility team in 2010 where she worked directly with the manufacturers and distributors to help them overcome any individual challenges in providing or receiving data from the SEMA Data Co-Op system. She now manages the Customer Support Team. Tammy and her team provide data management services to SDC members– at last count this was over 1000 companies and growing every day. Tammy is also cross-trained in electrical specific data management services and continues to provide support for the entire customer service team.
